It is our pleasure to welcome you to the authentic charm of Middelvlei Wine Estate with breath-taking views overlooking the Bottelary Hills and upper reaches of Devon Valley against the backdrop of the majestic mountains surrounding Stellenbosch.
Our team understands the importance of your event and we are passionate to make every function a unique and unforgettable occasion. We have two venues on the estate for hosting private and corporate celebrations as well as conferences:

Middelvlei is ideally situated in the heart of the beautiful Stellenbosch Winelands on the slopes of Papegaaiberg, just 4km from the town centre and a 40 minute drive from Cape Town.
Middelvlei Celebrations at Boerebraai Restaurant
Housed in an old horse stable, built in the late 1800’s and an extension completed in 2017, the restaurant has a verandah stepping out onto an open lawn overlooking the Middelvlei dam.
Our Restaurant can accommodate:
Verandah: 70 guests
Room 1 with fireplace walking out onto the verandah: 50 guests
Room 2 with fireplace walking out onto the verandah: 20 guests
(Room 1 & 2 are interlinked)
Lawn: Daytime events only. The hiring of a Bedouin tent for shade is recommended: 120 guests
The laidback and peaceful atmosphere provides that perfect authentic farm experience.

Middelvlei Conferences
The Wine Barn at Middelvlei is the ideal venue for a conference, conveniently located only 4 km from the Stellenbosch town centre.
The tranquil and farm-like atmosphere will set the perfect tone for your next conference. The following are included in our conference packages: screen, flipchart, data projector, stationary, Wi-Fi connection. A PA System can be arranged at an extra charge.

Both our half-day and full-day packages for conferences include a lunch menu, tailor-made to your requirements.
Lunch is served at the Boerebraai Restaurant.
*Finger-lunch served in conference facility.
The Loft at the Restaurant is available for meetings and smaller conferences or business gatherings.
